Been thinking about you lots, baby Maserati! And though I said I wouldn't push your brother off of breastfeeding, I have been better about not offering and instead offering a sippy cup. Hopefully, we will really be ready for this adventure to start next week!
Love you already!!

A twinkle in my eye
Well, Baby Beck #2, I started writing to your brother Hudson as soon as he was the tiniest twinkle in my eye, and I wanted to do the same with you.
Daddy and I just love Hudson soooo much, and though daddy has some doubts that we can duplicate the awesomeness that is your brother, I have faith that we have just enough ingredients to make one more awesome, wonderful, smart and beautiful child. And, because I am usually right and daddy knows it, he is going to give it a shot.
With Hudson, we had to have some fertility help. I expect we will do the same with you. Our game plan for now is for me to stop my low-dose birth control pills at the end of the week. Then, we will probably make an appt. with our specialist and see if I can get on the hormones we used last time (Provera and Femara) and get this party started! However, Hudson is still breastfeeding (he is 15 months old) a few times a day and though I have started weaning and I am sure he would be fine, I do not want to make him stop until he decides to do so, especially not to force my body to be prepared for a new baby. I know all too well, being the oldest myself, that sometimes "new baby" takes over and "old baby" is left out. I don't want to start that before "new baby" is even growing. I know I have enough love for both of you, and I know that you are going to need as much as Hudson needs, so there will obviously be some give and take and changes, but WE WILL MAKE IT WORK! Our family is ready for our final member. I am so excited to start this journey again!! I love you baby #2!
Love, mommy!
P.S. Daddy and I have to come up with a better nickname than baby #2... your brother was Baby Bugatti. Maybe you will be Baby Maserati? In the end, you will either be Lincoln Robert or Bentley (middle-name- yet-to-be-decided). Gotta be named after a car of course!
